SOMD Furs is hosting their first meet and greet, and you are invited! With the weather permitting, we will be hosting a BBQ and gaming meet for furs of the Southern Maryland area to mix and mingle with one another.  If the weather goes against us, we will adjust, making it a pizza/movie/gaming event. It’s a win/win.

Rules for the event:

  • No Fursuits. This is the first meet, and with it being at a private residence, we want to test the waters. If things go well, suits will be welcomed. Feel free to dawn your favorite furry accessories!
  • Alcohol will be allowed, but not provided. If you wish to drink, bring a reasonable amount for yourself. No sharing, as there may be younger furs here. And please, don’t get drunk, you’ll be asked to leave.
  • You break it, you will be replacing it.

We will be providing all the food we can, but if you would like to bring a dish to share please feel free. We have many gaming rigs and gaming consoles available (Switch, PS3, PS4) for use, feel free to bring a game or console if you’d like. If you are into tabletop games (DND, Pathfinder, Catan, Munchkin, Magic, etc), we have a free place for you to play, but don’t have many of those games. Also as heads-up, we have a dog and 3 cats. All of them are friendly, but if you have allergies, please keep that in mind.

We hope that you can make it to the Event. Hope to see you all soon!

    Hello
I’ve noticed you said that fursuits are not allowed, but furry accessories are allowed. What is the difference?

  2. MazaMedkat MazaMedkat says:

PS: When I say furry accessories, I mean furry tee shirts, tails, and ears, etc.
